Recently, I made the above pendant using a shard of shipwreck china I found a few weeks ago on one of my “treasure-hunting” seaside expeditions. I thought that the natural archaic looking crazing and crackling of the china lent itself well to the image of the Dead Sea Scroll.

The Bag Snob girls were there too but I ducked out before I had a chance to meet them. What was the occasion? The presentation of the new line of jewelry designed by Loulou de la Falaise of course. The store was full of pretty young things in their Jimmy Choos who were more interested in chatting with each other rather than perusing the collection.
