Paid Listings: Listings that search engines sell to advertisers usually through paid placement or paid inclusion. Businesses have traditionally gone this route because it’s a guaranteed placement that’s usually featured above other listings more prominently. Many directories also offer faster processing to get the link up for paid listings than free or reciprocal listings.
