I ran across it again today and figured I’d post it here. Very simple site but well done.

And it is with a mixture of sadness, exhaustion, and joy to have been host to such a great many Flash friends from all over the world. The conference was pretty damn amazing, and it was incredible to catch up with my great friends Mario, Ralph, Keith, Rob, Jeremy, Carlos, Chris and the many, MANY others! My session seemed to be very well-received, although I was actually quite nervous.

What is Pv3DDebug? Do you frequently use Papervision3D?  Well, if you said yes, then I am sure you are aware of the daunting task of debugging your Papervision3D applications.  Now those tasks can easily tackled using a pretty neat tool created by Jason Bejot called PV3DDebug.

Stephan Tanguay, flash developer and Animator over at Organic.com, recently completed a very cool Papervision3D banner here’s his say: [...] a rich media banner that uses Papervision3D to create an interactive driving experience where a 3D Jeep Wrangler will drive across a topographical map to the users mouse cursor.

A few weeks passed since I wrote about the AS3Dmod library and released an initial version of the code. Some new stuff has happened since, so here’s an update. First of all AS3Dmod has a new team member - Mack. Mack has been involved in several AS open-source projects, most notably Sandy3D.

Another taste of Papervision3D and an image gallery,however, this time it involves a tower-shaped image gallery.  This Flash component is a nice piece of work.  A feature that sticks out the most is its ability to prioritize the loading of the content.

I love 3D in Flash, but till now I’d never been very happy with the quality of text rendering in my Papervision3D projects. Papervision is a bitmap based 3D engine and because of that not very good at rendering text. Yesterday, I found VectorVision, which is an extension of Paperviosn3D that enables rendering vectors inside of Papervision3D.
