pens

Pens are writing utensils. They are generally long and thin in shape and dispense ink when pushed to a flat writable surface... usually paper.

As far as scientists can tell, the pen was used as far back as 500 B.C., where Natives would narrow the tips of bamboo sticks or bird feathers.

The pen today is much more functional and can be purchased in many colors, usually black or blue. Current types of pens include felt-tip, rollerball, fountain, and most commonly ballpoint.


Pens are commonly used for promotional purposes. Promotional pens are normally ballpoint pens that can be advertised on by businesses to promote their products or service.
