persuasion
Persuasion is a very powerful skill and psychological motivator used to get someone to take action like voting or purchasing a product. Blogging has become not only an excellent way to give out free information but also a powerful persuasion tool used for internet marketing to try to turn information seekers into information and merchandise buyers.
Persuasion is not only used for selling as you will most certainly find men trying to persuade women to fall in love them by taking them out to romantic dinners and giving them expensive valentines day gifts to make their hearts melt. Sometimes women use persuasion on themselves like imagining how they will look on their wedding day to get motivated to get started on those unused exercise routines that found their way to the bottom of a shelf.
If you seriously lack skills in persuasion you can study more about the psychology of persuasion. You could also consider a career in politics, where the skills of persuasion often come in the color green and speeches are carefully crafted by writers that know how to persuade. Persuasive communication techniques and more are discussed in depth at The Art of Change where you can learn more about these important life skills.
