About 450+ bloggers, blogger-friends, and our friends from SM and San Miguel trooped to Taste Asia at the Mall of Asia last night for the San Miguel-sponsored Oktoberfest 120 for Bloggers. I was amazed with the many new faces that I saw in the party (andami ko nang di kilala!).

Although last Friday meant Boys Like Girls until late at night, early Saturday morning still meant WordCamp Philippines 2008 (the first ever in the Philippines and in SEA).  It was quite the congregation of code nerds and blog addicts (guess where I belong) although it was a shame that a lot missed out on this (there were a lot of unclaimed badges — sayang) .

The past few days has just been really crazy for me that's why I haven't been blogging. I have a major blog backlog and I hope I'll manage to do something about it in the coming days.Anyway, so last Friday we had another party sponsored by Coca-Cola and it was where the winners of the Buhay Coke Video Blog Contest was announced.

Finally, we have a WordCamp here. I’m actually very excited to go to WordCamp Philippines 2008 for a number of reasons. One, because I love WordPress, I’m such a nerd, and I would feel incredibly unfulfilled if I don’t go. Two, our web design business is expanding and we’re in the look-out for budding CSS encoders and PHP programmers.

It’s third week of July, but i already have schedules to keep as far as December.  Lately, requests/invitations to youth events, fellowships, meetings, music events, blog events have all piled up.  Not wanting to chew more than i could swallow, i’ve made the decision to weigh everything based on their level of importance and relevance.

there's another party next week! Updated, 2:50 a.m. I just realized I'm going to have a really busy weekend (have a 12 noon speaking engagement tomorrow plus more bookings! aargghhh!!!)... so I thought I should upload my photos already, and here they are...
