A plane crash is an all too frequent tragedy in a world where our work — or the need to get away from it — often demands travel methods which get us from one point of the country to the other, or even around the world, in a matter of hours or days.

Plane crashes have claimed the lives of ordinary citizens, as well as the pilots who fly the planes and the service workers who help make flight more comfortable. They have also claimed the lives of the rich and famous, including politicians, movie stars, and rock stars.

Some see these horrific accidents simply as the unfortunate circumstance of modern living, while others see them as evidence that man was not meant to fly at all. The fact remains that plane crashes seem to occur with ever-increasing frequency.

On the Internet, there are websites which provide crash insurance to frequent fliers as well as crash information. There are also sites which provide legal advice to victims. Other sites recount heroic stories told by the survivors. There are also places which provide tips on surviving a plane crash.
