Pokerstars is the largest online poker room with more than 200,000 players online 24 hours a day. Founded in 2001 and originally located in Costa Rica, the company has moved to the Isle of Man and is licensed with the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission today.

Pokerstars offers many varieties of poker games including Texas Holdem, Omaha and Stud. Beyond that it is the largest poker tournament site online.

Pokerstars sponsors many professional players like Barry Greenstein, Daniel Negreanu and the 2009 WSOP champion Joe Cada. Chris Moneymaker, who revolutionized the poker world when winning the World Series of Poker in 2003 because he qualified with an online poker room (Pokerstars) for the tournament is still a member of Team Pokerstars.
