Cousins - Past in Polaroids 9
http://hotfessional.com/ 2008/ 10/ 06/ cousins-past-in-polaroids-9/One of the best places in the entire world while I was growing up was my grandmother’s house in Dearborn. She never remarried after my grandfather died in 1969, but that house held memories of Christmases and Easters, of sleepovers and birthday parties. It always smelled like cookies and tea.

There is a man dressed as a French fry walking down the street. Gorjus: [puzzled, fiddling with his film] Oh? Lula: [waving her hands] FRENCH FRY. HUMAN FRENCH FRY. Gorjus: Uh, HEY DUDE.

Private Pool.
http://prettyfakes.com/ ?p=1621That pool is almost a luminescent green. It’s at the Regal Inn in Starkville—a/k/a, the Darkhorse parking lot. Somehow I’ve managed to never jump in it. The fence is the spooky paintings on the outside of Dave’s. Everything on 669 film through a Polaroid 420; click to embiggen.

Twin Daughters/Different Mothers - Past in Polaroids 8
http://hotfessional.com/ 2008/ 09/ 29/ twin-daughtersdifferent-mothers-past-in-p…We look alike, don’t we? “M” was one of my brother’s many girlfriends - and like most of them, there’s a story associated with her. Her and my mother, to be specific. The Golden Child met M. at the local roller rink. Remember roller skating in the 1980’s? The Golden Child was a “skate guard”.
