policy
The word Policy can refer to a number of things. It is usually used to describe a definite plan or guide that has to be followed. It can be applied to a number of different areas. The term policy is probably most commonly used when describing matters in insurance and politics.
It could be used in politics when someone is referring to a government's domestic or foreign policy. An example of its use in the insurance field could be after receiving Life Insurance Quotes and choosing the most suitable quote to determine a life insurance policy. The term policy is also used when referring to car insurance policy documents. It can also be used when referring to privacy policies such as a company's privacy policy.
