I haven’t read the book, but this discussion gets to the heart of one of the ideological memes that is always with us which determines the direction and vision of the church, and so merits some discussion.

Mind Dump! Today was a LONNNNGGGG day.  Left the house at 6am.  Set up.  Preached three times.  Had our trailer re-organization for the PAC day.  Had a media team meeting at my house.  Was finally finished at 5pm.  WHOA!

And Cole did a great job at sharing about our place in politics as Christ followers The band sounded AMAZING once again today! Couper and I have been playing for 2 hours…he just sat down and put his head down on the ground…he’s not sleeping, but he’s not playing anymore.

Just got my copy of Pop Goes the Church by Tim Stevens. I am pumped about reading this book. Here are some initial thoughts: the cover rocks the chapter titles rock the fact that our church is in the book ROCKS the idea to use a little symbol throughout the book that correlates with information on the book’s website ROCKS One thing I did notice…look at the pics below.
