Scrolling through the TechCrunch50 finalists, i came across a new web 2.0 service called Popego. Funny name no? As its tag line says ‘A more meaningful web’ Popego brings all your feeds together and creates an autoblog out of it. Autoblog != Friendfeed You add your social network details into it.

After some initial rough spots during the first day of TechCrunch50, yesterday was an incredibly impressive day. I’ve been reluctant to compare TC50 and DEMOfall (aside from the live video stream, of course), but there is one glaring difference between the two conferences: the panels.

Today was the first day of the 2nd annual Techcrunch 50 conference. The goal of the conference, dreamed up by entrepreneurs Micahel Arrington and Jason Calacanis, was to promote 50 great start-ups to the “industry’s most influential VCs, corporations, fellow entrepreneurs and press.” They also hoped to eliminate the fee for start-ups to present like other conferences.
