If you didn’t get an email asking for your coordinates so I could ship you a spanking new Crock Pot this morning, sorry about that. I so wish I could have sent one to each of you, but I doubt the fairy godmother/FedEx guy will show up on my doorstep with 200+ new Crock Pots.

We are fortunate enough to live in a city with a ridiculous amount of diversity when it comes to restaurants, and one place we frequent often is a ‘hip’ Colombian restaurant (what the hell, it is Brooklyn). When we go there it’s because of two things: 1) We’re friggin starving and are ready to eat till we drop and 2) we want to get drunk.

Last week, I was fortunate to get out to the big city at Madison Square Garden for one of my favorite acts Weezer. As noted in last week’s review, they didn’t disappoint. They played almost all their biggest hits from the Blue, Pinkerton, Green, Make Believe along with a half off their brand new Red album released this past summer.

Gas prices are higher than ever-so why not shop at a local grocery store? Even the essentials are going up in price heavily thanks to the economy-pick a grocery store near you and find coupons for it, save money by not travelling as far and pay the same that you would at the giant supermarkets.   

I went to the Weezer concert Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden and wow, was I blown away! But then again, I knew they’d be awesome because they’re just a great band capable of anything. It amazes me that they’ve never played here before. But then again, they’re laid back West coast Californian dudes used to that Hollywood lifestyle.

I have recently started eating meat again after I stopped eating it about 6 months ago. In fact I enjoyed a delicious pork chop today for lunch. But looking at this photo makes me feel bad - only slightly bad though. At least I didn’t eat the nasty contents of this can of Pork and Beans, although I doubt there is much pork in it, just fillings and preservatives.
