How About a Primrose Bouquet Today?
http://urban-oasis.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ how-about-primrose-bouquet-today.htmlThe Primroses are really hitting their stride right about now, and with the still fairly cool weather and nights, they should continue to bloom for a few more weeks at least. I think we've finally seen the full range of the colors we currently have, so when I'm looking for more to plant, I'll know what others I want to include.

Not Quite the Primrose Path, but It's a Start!
http://urban-oasis.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ not-quite-primrose-path-but-its-start…I've definitely become a fan of Primula polyanthus because it's truly proven itself to be quite adaptive to our notably fickle springs the past couple of years. The red one in the second shot was the first to bloom this year, though the others have been joining the show in rapid succession.

favorite (bawdy) primrose
http://awaytogarden.com/ favorite-bawdy-primroseTHERE IS NOTHING PRIM about Primula kisoana, a tart and a thug rolled into one delightful package. Oh, how very yummy. The details: This Japanese woodlander spreads to create thick mats of scalloped, blue-green, fuzzy foliage, from which erupt (and I think that’s exactly the word) orchid-pink flowers

The cowslip is a member of the primrose family and its Latin name is Primula veris.

Infamy
http://www.bansidhe.net/ 2008/ 04/ 20/ infamy/It’s never good to be known across multiple servers for being a an idiot, but it sure is funny. As Tenryuu stated in his blog, one of our warriors in our guild lost a need roll on Commendation of Kael’thas to a mage named Primula. Said mage turned around and posted a “in your face” post for the warrior on our realm forum.

http://groupsforumsboardssearch.com/ blog/ 2008/ 04/ 12/ dogs-are-in-danger-brun…RE: Transplanting Brunfelsia? I have a well-established brunfelsia - Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow - planted up against the house and it needs to be moved away from the foundation. It’s already been pruned hard to about 4′ tall and is doing just fine, will it tolerate being transplanted?

Odd new polyanthus
http://transatlanticplantsman.typepad.com/ transatlantic_plantsman/ 2008/ 03/ od…Odd new polyanthus New primulas of one kind or another just keep on coming and in garden centres around the country at the moment are two polyanthus varieties which really are different – whether they have anything else going for them I’m not so sure. The Royal Oakleaf Series have two distinctly unusual features.

Book - worms - painting
http://katesmudges.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 03/ book-worms-painting.htmlYesterday, I was tagged by Cate at Beyond the Fields We Know to participate in a book meme. Quite a long while ago, I was also tagged for the same meme by Teeni at Vaguetarian Tearoom. It's a fun and easy meme. Here are the rules: 1. Pick up the nearest book (of at least 123 pages). 2. Open the book to page 123.
