orderly queueing.
http://lozenge.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 10/ orderly-queueing/When we travel, we work our bodies at high speed then switch to absolute inertia with no notice in between. It’s a nausea-inducing cocktail of standing and running, waiting and queueing, sprinting to gates and sitting, then running to form a line, getting past the gate and queueing to board, then

Custom Queueing
http://dorreke.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 01/ custom-queueing/NMC Lab 18.10 has prompted me to have another look at Custom Queueing. I have always been a bit vague and empirical about how you set the byte-count to determine the bandwidth weighting of each queue, so I thought I would try and take the bull by the horns.

I've now officially got a hate on for Q-ing
http://cyncity.typepad.com/ cyn_city/ 2008/ 04/ ive-have-now-of.htmlEDIT/ Apparently the "must be done in 6 hours" is a typo that needs to be fixed. I have now officially got a hate on for Q-ing in Social Spark and no amount of "spin" is going to bring me around.

http://sewrandom.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 03/ one-more-green-top.htmlOver the weekend, amongst finishing up things, setting up stuff and general holiday business, I managed to cut Simplicity 4528 out of the green Tencel/rayon jacquard I got from Vogue Fabrics at the Expo this year. And yes, I got the longer version...which pleased me no end.

On to the Easter Choir Shirt...
http://sewrandom.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 03/ on-to-easter-choir-shirt.htmlI debated several things. If I'd've had some black stretch lace, I might've tried for something a little bit edgey. But I think I've decided I'm going to wear my black eyelet skirt, so instead of edgy I wanted something just a little girly. The nod went to Simplicity 4076, the scoop-neck version w/the front gathers.

Online Live Chat: An Opportunity for Queueing Theory
http://ormsblog.com/ online-live-chat-an-opportunity-for-queueing-theory/I recently bumped into an article titled “Live chat: your new online salesperson” on CNNMoney.com. The article briefly talked about the potential of online instant messaging as a new sales tool for companies. More and more companies, especially those who sell their products online, are adding the live chat feature as a way to provide customer support on their websites.
