rachel bilson

American actress Rachel Jade Bilson was born on August 25th, 1981 in Los Angeles, California. She is best known for playing the role of spoiled valley girl Summer Roberts on the popular prime time drama series The O.C.

With her parents support, Rachel Bilson made her screen acting debut in early 2003, appearing in episodes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and 8 Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter. She was cast alongside Mischa Barton in the teen drama The O.C. later that year. The show proved to be an immediate hit with teenage audiences, propelling the young cast into the Hollywood limelight.

Bilson made her feature film debut in the 2006 drama The Last Kiss. She appeared in two episodes of the hit NBC action-comedy television series Chuck in 2007 and later appeared alongside fiance Hayden Christensen in the 2008 science fiction flick Jumper. She followed that up with roles in New York, I Love You (2009) and Waiting For Forever (2009).
