The term "real estate" generally pops into peoples minds when they are looking to sell or purchase a home or other property.

Often people look to the Internet or a real estate agent for real estate advice, while others may look to a mortgage broker.

A real estate agent can help locate properties for sale that fit the needs and price range of the buyer. The agent will also help negotiate terms between the buyer and the seller of the property, often for a commission from the properties sale price.

Since the cost of a home or other property is generally more than one can usually afford using cash, money has to be borrowed, which is called a mortgage. A mortgage broker can help find a bank or lender with reasonable mortgage rates and terms.
