red wine

Tag details

Red, red wine has been crooned about by the likes of Neil Diamond, UB40, Eric Clapton, and even Billy Joel. This drink has become a staple in our society and has long been used to complement different types of meals and dishes.

Red wines are meant to be served with meat, while white wines are meant to be served with breads. Their distinct flavors compliment different types of food, and the careful host will buy red wine if he/she is serving meat and white wine if he/she is serving grains or pasta.

However, wine is also a social lubricant, and too much wine is known to have a strange effect on people. If you buy red wine and consume too much of it, it may make you tell your entire life story to anyone who will stand still, recite Bill Shakespeare, or even have delusions that you are Peter Pan.

Red wine is made by fermenting the juice from red grapes in oak barrels. Some people have been known to add antifreeze or other elements to the wine to make it age quicker or to give it little kick, but this practice is illegal and is punishable by law.
