You may not have even considered it, but you are in a relationship. Yes, even if you do not presently have a sweetheart or significant other, you still have relationships. You have a relationship to your mailman. What? He carries your mail as a service to you, therefore you are connected to him in some manner. You have a relationship with your doctor — he administers to you in health-related matters.

Some relationships are more straightforward and evident. You may have a mother, father, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, grandmother, grandfather, and so on. These are all your relatives, people that you are related to.

Some relationships are very complex, such as with two people who love each other but live in separate parts of the world. Some relationships are simple, like the relationship between a man and his dog. Some relationships are steady, while others are rocky. On the weekend if you can lay down on your latex mattress and go to sleep knowing that you have not offended anyone the whole week long, you probably have some pretty decent relationships.
