residual income

The word "residual" just sounds unpleasant. "Residual" conjures up images of what is left over after you have changed the oil on your '67 Chevy truck. It sounds like the stuff that you spray out of the inside your garbage can after it has been dumped several dozen times.

However, try adding the word "income" after residual and it changes the entire feel of the word! Honestly, residual income is really what many of us are working towards in life!

Residual income can be defined as the monthly amount of income a person has left over after all other bills have been paid. After all your other debts (mortgage, car payments, utility bills, etc.) have all been paid off, the money you have left over is your residual income. And the bigger that number is, the better off you are in life and the more money you have to spend on things you want to spend it on!
