Just because fruit flies, worms, or fish may have extended lives with the administration of Resveratrol, doesn't mean this exactly translates to the same results in humans. Nonetheless, our species rarely ever seems to let minor details stop us. And there's this peculiar thing about the French that gives rise to hope and sparks the imagination — the fatty French diet that nature seems to turn a blind eye to. Could it be because of their ample consumption of Resveratrol, the active component in red wine?
