rich

"I wanna be rich... full of love, peace, and happiness." So goes the song from the 90s by Calloway, speaking of the desire to have it all. Rich is a relative term, generally revolving around the theme of material wealth. Being rich, or wealthy, is a much-sought-after attribute in our society, as those who have a great deal of money, resources, and other assets tend to get more attention (especially in the media) than those who are closer to the poverty side of the equation.

Richness and wealth are often equated with power and influence. Does a person become rich because they have power and influence, or do they have power and influence because they are rich?

Truthfully, being rich is more of a mindset than anything else, as demonstrated in Napolean Hill's Think and Grow Rich. Whether a person wants to get rich from real estate, the stock market, gold and silver, or by becoming a wealthy affiliate internet marketer, the vehicle to reach wealth is much less important than the thought process and wisdom, which is what really delivers.
