A ring is a jewelry item most commonly worn around a finger, but can also be fitted for toes, arms etc… As a man made body decoration, rings have been with us for tens of thousands of years and have been worn by men and women alike. In today’s modern era, some of the popular materials used in their manufacture are various precious metals, leather goods, bone, glass, plastics and ceramics. Some of today’s most popular ring designs include not only engagement and wedding rings, but celebration bands, friendship rings such as the famous Claddagh ring and class graduation rings.

The appearance of rings on the Internet has taken the web by storm in some respects. Shoppers once only able to view rings in stores can now compare prices and styles from across the globe via the Internet. This has led to a rise in ring related blogs geared toward informing consumers on deals, styles and trends. Blogs like the Wedding Ring blog are becoming quite popular among consumers and surfers alike for those very reasons.
