For those people having trouble trying to use their D300 cameras to wirelessly work with their SB-600 flash units; I couldnt find one online so I made a mini tutorial to show you how to use it in no time ! Here’s how you do : ON YOUR D300 : under the custom settings menu, go to (e) bracketing flash section, to to (e3) Flash control for built in flash , select (c) commander mode.

Picked up J at the airport this morning. I’ve been there so many times in the last couple of weeks I should get my own parking spot. She was manic after her trip, being the extrovert that she is and charged by work in general. I felt rather quiet, quite opposite of when I spend so much time alone.

Even though I trust myself, I don't trust technology, so that means I'm taking extreme risks when shooting weddings because what if my D200 stopped working suddenly on me? What do I do? While I have worried about it in the past, I've never dwelt on it.

Finally it’s here, my new Nikon SB-600 Speedlight!! Like what I mentioned here, I hate direct flash (built-in on most camera), and had always been in need for an external flash. I decided to get a Speedlight after my cousin told me that she’s coming back to Brunei from Singapore.

More from the Lightbox. Same equipment. THis time though, I got more creative with the lighting, and took the SB-600 off the tripod, and just lay it down inside the whitebox, next to the object being photographed, and just out of frame. Wow, does that EVER provide some serious lighting.
