The Gardener's Dreams
http://quietcountryhouse.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 03/ gardener.htmlThe Gardener's Dreams I've had seed catalogs stacking up on the shelf of my coffee table for months now. Finally, it is nearing mid-March and I'm ready to order seeds. So far, my order is going to be through Seed Savers, a favorite heirloom seed source that I've ordered from in the past - always with nice results.

30 Days Until Spring!
http://www.motherearthsgarden.com/ 30-days-until-spring/I love spring! It’s my favorite time of the year. I love it when everything starts growing and turning green. I know some would say I’m wishing my life away, but I wish for spring from January first until March. I’m usually good through December, I think it’s all the holiday bustle.

Spring in the Air
http://greencolander.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 02/ 16/ spring-in-the-air/Spring is in the air - albeit intermittently. We are still getting snow every other day it seems, just when things were warming up tantalizingly and drawing us outside to bask in the increasingly warmer sunlight. Various bulbs are poking their green shoots into the air.

Seed Company Links Updated, Plus MN Native Plant Sources
http://homeandgardenblogger.com/ 2008/ 02/ 14/ seed-company-links-updated-plus-m…Ruth, fellow Minnesotan of Nature Knitter fame, gently asked if I would provide links to the seed catalog companies I listed in my last post. As a blogger, I was terribly negligent in not providing the links in the first place, but when I wrote the post I was feeling lazy and didn't want to look up all the sites.

http://penelopedia.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 02/ ordering-seeds-act-of-hope-in-cold-co…I was reminded by my friend Mary that there is hope for spring, though it seems a distant possibility while contending with things like windchill factors of 35-50 below zero, as we experienced Saturday night. So, as an act of faith, I have just placed a seed order with Renee's Garden Seeds.

Seed ordering sanity
http://tinyfarmblog.com/ 2008/ 02/ 04/ seed-ordering-sanity/Seed ordering sanity Mon, Feb 04, 2008 · Filed under Planning, Veggies, Winter The first main seed order is finally done. There will be one more in a week or two, and then I’ll be set for the season. Working out the order was relatively painless, it does get easier every year, but without this handy Seed Order Calculator, my head would still be spinning.
