Sexy is both a demeanor and physical appearance that someone may find attractive. Personal tastes and individual preferences truly define what is sexy, as each persons opinion is neither right nor wrong.

Men and women find all different attributes sexy on one another. Some men prefer women with a skinny body, while others may only be attracted to a full figured woman. Women also have various preferences on what they prefer as sexy. Some women find rugged good looks with a sense of humor to be sexy, while other women may find only a wealthy man strong in financial planning to be sexy.

Diversity in preferences and individual choices is what really defines sexy, although the outside influences of the media strongly suggest, define, and mold what is sexy on the catwalk.

Sexy, as defined by advertising, has created a billion dollar industry of fat burning pills and fad diets promising consumers that they can lose weight fast to be sexy. Airbrushed models and actors with perfect outward appearances has unnecessarily created insecurities in a world full of beautiful people who are already perfect just the way they are.

Sexy is in the eyes and mind of the beholder and changes from year to year. Pictures of sexy people of today and years past can all be seen at the Sexy People Blog.
