Shopping is a national obsession in the US. Even though the economic downturn has reduced the retail sales indicators for the last few quarters, shopping both in retail stores and online continues to be a present force for consumers. Some of the most popular things that draw shoppers are weddings, womens clothing, and hair and beauty supplies. Items such as wedding favors and gemstone rings are heavy seasonal items sought after during the summer months.

Whether shoppers are using discount driven super stores like Wal-mart or Target, Shopping malls or retail centers or outlet shopping centers; consumers want shopping options. The advent of Amazon, Overstock.com and E-bay have forever altered the definition of shopping, creating a unique ability for shoppers to compare prices, sales, product specifications and location for any item they may want to buy.
