Many of us wonder, “Just how is snow created?” The clouds in the sky are made up of water vapor and when the water molecules within the clouds become cooler than normal, the vapor transforms into a super-cooling state. This is when the nucleators, which are dust particles found within the cloud formation, begin to crystallize. The snowflakes then begin to fall slowly to the earth and create the mounds of snow you see on glorious slopes around the world.

Skiing is a sport that is adored by millions of people around the world. Known as a great work-out and a competitive sport, skiing provides individuals with a sense of adrenaline and freedom with every slope conquered.


Snow falls freely and in large amounts in American tourist destinations such as Denver, Colorado, Washington State (Mount Baker) and Park City, Utah.

Park City, Utah is home to some of the top ski and snowboarding slopes and attracts people from all over the United States and beyond, which makes Park City lodging an important topic in the blogosphere especially amongst ski fanatics.
