After almost a year, I'm back at it! (that's smocking, for those who don't know. The plain lines are called backsmocking. You have to do that to the backside of any design so that it keeps its shape.) No, the design is not me announcing anything. We're now selling through a boutique in St.

    Grandpa

    http://madsquirrelblog.com/ ?p=137

OMSH want to hear stories of our Grandpas.  I was lucky to have two growing up.  Both worked for most of my childhood.  They were both strict at times but had a gentle way about them.  They had childhoods  raised in the country.  That is were the similarities end.

    unraveling

    http://cliodhnaswave.com/ 2008/ 05/ unraveling/

I was doing my recap today when I was thinking that doing personal work like the workshops I do in the Toltec is like unraveling a big twisted knot. You have to find an end and start there and work your way into the centre of the knot. Start with the little knots and they will give you energy (inner strength) to face the biggies when they come along.

    Snowflakes are Falling

    http://www.thriftyfloridamama.net/ 2008/ 05/ snowflakes-are-falling.html

Snowflakes are Falling I received $73 yesterday from a couple of different sources. And wow! was it hard not to add some money to the grocery budget for the week. It was even harder to avoid the temptation of eating out because yesterday was such a hectic day.

    When We Were Five

    http://willa.homeschooljournal.net/ 2008/ 05/ 04/ when-we-were-five/

Paddy now is to be thought of as “Paddy the Hero.” As in “Mom, Paddy the Hero wants an apple. Can he have one?” I just love the five year old boy stage. CS Lewis was about that age when according to his older brother, he marched up to his mother, pointed at his own chest and said, “He is Jacksie”.
