sony ericsson

The term Sony Ericsson is the name of a large mobile phone company. Sony Ericsson was established in 2001 as a joint venture by Japanese consumer electronics giant Sony and a Swedish communications company called Ericsson. The company was put together with the aim of bringing together Sony's ability and reputation for creating top quality consumer electronics and Ericsson's communications expertise. The companies now only make Sony Ericsson Mobile Phones and no longer release any under their own name. The companies head office is in London, although they have offices worldwide including in Sweden, Japan, India and the USA.
