While On the Road in America, I continually look for unique and interesting places and people. In Barre, Vermont, I found just such a special place, a landscape irrevocably linked in life and death to the people of this community whose work is art in its highest form.

Or rather perhaps bouncing from curve balls? Bouncing off walls, floors and doors? The universe is giving me little signs to keep on going.  Perhaps it is just coincidence, perhaps it isn’t, for the record I don’t believe in it, never have and never will… Perhaps I am just observant and pick silly things up? Who knows I just know that it happens to me, happens a lot.

    The incredible amount of insight of the author of “John” is the one thing that is enormously powerful about The Gospel of John to me.  In this passage, John 8:53-58, the author(s) must have spent an inordinant amount of time considering the meaning and purpose of the Jesus’ message played out some 80 years before the author completes his/her work.

The clothes we wear are much like our spiritual clothes, our emotions and spirit evolve and grow with us sometimes changing as the need requires. We are born naked in to this world, no opinions, vices, emotional blockages, hurts or scars just basic instincts of wonder and awe at the new world we find ourselves in.

Shannon Armitage at the Managing Life Transitions blog writes about research from the University of South Carolina on the rates of postpartum depression among women with strong religious or spiritual ties. The study was published in the Archives of Women's Mental Health back in February.

God helps us to overcome obstacles and can clear the way ahead in our lives, so that we may serve Him fully and faithfully.
