Spring is a wonderful time of year. It represents renewal and awakening. It's a time when people are more active, having come out of their winter slumber, now ready to spring into action and get more things accomplished.

The beginning of every season is marked by the change in sunlight. Spring is evidenced by an equal twelve hours of daylight and darkness. Animals and people get twitterpated in the spring. Flowers bloom and romances blossom.

Another type of spring is a natural source of water that is filtered within the earth and emerges at some point on the earth's surface. Some people find the geo-thermally heated water that forms hot springs therapeutic and enjoy it immensely.

Finally, a spring can be a metal (or some other type of material) coil. A slinky toy is a type of spring. A pogo stick is another example of how a spring can be used. A mattress such as the sofa bed mattress can also have springs inside of it to offer support.
