STDs are those diseases that are mainly passed from one person to another during sex. They may be spread through vaginal, anal and even oral sex and there are at least 25 such diseases. Common STD symptoms are soreness, unusual lumps or sores, itching, pain when urinating or an unusual discharge from the genitals. All these symptoms occur in the genital area. If you are diagnosed with a STD, it is wise to find out all you can about the condition so you know what you might have to face.

Some of the most common STDs include bacterial vaginosis, chlamydia, pubic lice, genital warts, gonorrhea, hepatitis, genital herpes, molluscum contagiosum, scabies, syphilis, thrush, and trich. If you are suffering from any of these STDs, you should seek urgent medical treatment and practice safe sex to avoid spreading the condition to other sexual partners.
