In the play Antigone, we find this quotable line: "The trees that are willing to bend in the wind are the ones that survive the storm."

Storms, whether they are literal or metaphorical, are something that each of us has faced or will face at one time or another in the space of our lives.

A storm of financial ruin or emotional heartache is just as tragic as physical storms of wind, rain, and flooding. They are just storms of a different type. That’s all.

In the event of a storm in your personal life, you may seek the guidance of a friend or family member. Or perhaps you may even try to communicate with Deity or a Supreme Being. In the storms of actual snow and rain, there are humanitarian relief and charities that have been created to help in such cases.

No matter what type of storm you have experienced (or are experiencing?), just know that there is aid available to those that need it from people that care. All you need to do is seek it out during or after the storm.
