story
The tag story is used often by bloggers when writing posts about books. These are often blogs written by librarians, teachers and other educators. A great blog where you can read regular reviews of a story by a well-known librarian is Fuse #8 by Betsy Bird of the New York Public Library. These blog posts often contain information about the inspiration behind the story. Another great story related blog is Bookslut. For breaking news about stories and the book industry, Galleycat is a must-read.
Bloggers also use the tag story in blogs that review fiction and nonfiction stories. Cynsations is a blog by Cynthia Leitich Smith, author of fiction for young readers and faculty member at the Vermont College of Fine Arts MFA program in Writing for Children and Young Adults. A great blog about nonfiction stories is Nonfiction Matters by Marc Aronson at School Library Journal. You can browse the entire story and buy the book at sites like Amazon or you can find the right story for you at your nearest local bookstore using IndieBound.org.
