  07 road house: You are right...I forgot that the necks are a little bit nicer/different. Tinted with satin finish...pretty cool. If memory serves the 09 MIM Std has a tinted neck now too. My 07 Roadhouse has the same trem block that my 08 MIM Standard had (traded away for a tele :wink:) though.

  It simply wouldnt be reverse wound, therefore you wouldnt have any hum cancelling options unless you put the original center pickup in a different location and then you would only get one quiet setting.

The CP50s have 57/62 pickups (which I do love) but the CP60s early ones had Abigail Y signed pickups and that makes a difference in resale as well.   A high fret, if not fretting out when fretted at the second, should not affect intonation at all. I was assuming that a custom shop guitar would not have a fret issue. I can see a nut issue before a high fret.
