It figures that I would leave my umbrella in the car while the rain pours down at gymnastics this morning (and we're parked at the END of the parking lot). It figures that I would be the first person from the preschool to go and get my fingerprinting done for the FBI background check and have no clue where to go (nor did anyone else, but I figured it out!).

I really don’t know how the majority of my roses and flowers manage to stay mostly intact with all the rain and storms we’ve had this summer. We just had a big rain and hail storm and yes there are petals littering the ground around my flower beds, but there are still a lot of flowers on my plants.

Ok I knew we were supposed to have storms on and off all day, but what’s with the hail? Seriously, almost every big storm this summer has come with hail. At around 1:45 pm I noticed that it was getting darker and darker outside.

The Toronto area has had it's wettest summer in 70 years. From June 1 to August 10, it has rained on 41 of 71 days. A veritable washout. Lots of isolated thundershowers. And more to come. This was one of them. Someone over there is getting very wet!
