“Summer means various things to various people, but one thing it means for most people in finance and all of New York is: interns. I’m told there is a similar wave of little political interns towards D.C.

So, as some of you may know, I have been working here at Quiddities for the summer as Office Assistant and general People Wrangler. Now, in order to fully explain my experience here I have to give you all a little background. I’m a theatre major at an undisclosed school in SF that happens to be a state school.

Yes! Finally the desired day has arrived! From now on im on vacation! well. Pseudo Vacation is more exact. Let me explain. My internship ended today. The evaluation went well, although i thing i deserved a better grade (i got a 16 in 20), but im still very happy with it.

While everyone is eagerly awaiting 2008 bonus numbers, my attention has turned to all the summer interns that started recently. I’ve given some tips in the form of a summer intern success guide and an avid reader gave some tips from his firsthand experience, but it’s often easier to give advice on what not to do (as with fashion).
