    http://sustainablog.org/ 2008/ 08/ 18/ why-blackberries-are-bad-for-your-taxes/

I went to Northern California recently on a business trip.  I got too much done.  Meetings, work sessions, proposals, emails, conference calls, and a few very memorable dinners. http://www.greenandcleanmom.org/ top-100-blogs-websites/

The other day I saw Christy’s Coffee Break noted a list of top 100 bloggers and I was sad, I’m not on that list. Am I on any list and who the heck is qualified to say who is on what list and if you’re an A, B or C list blogger? I decided I [...] ShareThis

A Sustainable Way to Travel: CouchSurfing.com

    http://sustainablog.org/ 2008/ 07/ 23/ a-sustainable-way-to-travel-couchsurfingc…

CouchSurfing saved my life. Well, possibly.  No one yet knows what role quality sleep plays in one’s life, or whether one could die from sleep deprivation. But if it weren’t for the Couchsurfing.com network, I would be–more or less–homeless.

Personal Sustainability: The Path to Worldwide Environmental Sustainability

    http://sustainablog.org/ 2008/ 06/ 19/ personal-sustainability-the-path-to-world…

This world is founded on some basic laws, including cause and effect. Every action has a reaction. Every cause has an effect. And we may think that we’re all separate beings in this world, separate beings and entities. But in reality, we are all connected, we are all intertwined, and we are all One.

    What is an Investment Product?

    http://sustainablog.org/ 2008/ 06/ 17/ what-is-an-investment-product/

Recently, I wrote about the financial ROI of Green Investing. Let’s drill down further… In finance, an investment is a “thing” you buy with money for the purpose of getting both getting your money back, and getting more money in the form of “interest”, “capital appreciation” or both.

Ecopreneur or Entrepreneur: What’s the difference?

    http://sustainablog.org/ 2008/ 06/ 11/ ecopreneur-or-entrepreneur-whats-the-diff…

There are many ways in which entrepreneurs and ecopreneurs are similar. Both embrace failure and are idea driven, innovative, creative, risk tolerant, flexible, adaptable, freedom minded and independent. Perhaps you could add a few more defining characteristics as well.

ROI of Green Investing, Part 2

    http://sustainablog.org/ 2008/ 06/ 10/ roi-of-green-investing-part-2/

In my last post, I talked about the ecological and social outcomes one might wish to support via green investing. But what about the financial return on investment (ROI)? Financial ROI (profit) is vital to green investing.

ROI of Green Investments, Part 1

Green investors often refer to the “triple bottom line”: What are the social benefits? What are the environmental benefits? What is the financial Return on Investment (ROI)? The first Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) funds avoided companies that made cigarettes, supplied the military, or did business in South Africa.

    Why are People called CONSUMERS?

    http://sustainablog.org/ 2008/ 06/ 04/ why-are-people-called-consumers/

When did we become “consumers”? How did it seep into our mainstream culture so that it’s commonplace to refer to each other as consumers? It’s pretty clear why people over the last several decades started referring to each other as consumers: wealth and greed.
