ESPN has Little League Baseball all night. At 8, Disney has a new Disney Games 2008, followed by a new Suite Life of Zack & Cody.

On July 18th, I responded to Mrs. Micah Single Step Personal Finance Challenge and said that I will try to finish up my estate planning in 2 weeks. Alas, I am a procrastinator and didn’t get anywhere near completing it. So I committed to complete the first of four steps in the Suze Orman’s Will & Trust Kit program.

My review of Farnoosh Torabi's YOU'RE SO MONEY on Talk of the Town with Parker Sunshine airs August 27. Yay! I got interested in Farnoosh Torabi's YOU'RE SO MONEY because, as I wrote last week, I'm getting used to organizing my own finances and plan for an uncertain future.

Last Saturday nights' viewing of the CNBC hit Suze Orman Show was an eye opener. Suze advised people, who are behind on their mortgage and living off credit cards to turn over their deeds to the bank, immediately move out of their homes, rent an apartment before their FICO scores drop and once inside their new address to stop paying their credit cards .

TLC has two new episodes of Flip That House at 8, then a new Trading Spaces. Disney Channel has the 2008 Disney Channel Games, then a new Phineas & Ferb.

I have made some comments around the net about wealth creation (go figure!).  On a fairly regular basis I get a comment that calls into question the need to put wealth creation on the front burner.  Now I understand this, many people are ambivalent about money and have long-term issues with it. 

Words of wisdom from the queen of finance herself - Suze Orman (who seems to be popping up everywhere these days!) I don't know much about her, but it sure seems like she wants me to :) She's on every other magazine, or financial show i check out - my favorite being the SNL skits they always do on her! haha....

A Message About Money Before I was married, I was very good at taking care of my own finances--balancing my checkbook, paying my bills, saving money, etc. Once I got married, my husband took over all of those chores. Oh, I have a say in major financial decisions, but for the most part, he does all the day to day work of our finances--and he is good at it.
