The video of Feist playing on Sesame Street reminded me to dig up the clip of Herbie Hancock demoing the Fairlight synthesizer on the same show twenty years earlier. I am terribly sad to report that it appears to have been taken down by the user! Terribly sad. If anyone knows where I can find this clip, please get in touch.

Sometimes people have a difficult time understanding that something they dislike isn't necessarily illegal -- and because of it, they can sometimes take legal action even though they have no right to do so. This is quite common with the DMCA, where we've seen numerous examples of people abusing the DMCA in this manner.
