So last weekend was a big weekend for me. It was a musical weekend, especially. On Saturday I went to the Pitchfork music festival, and then on Sunday I saw The Hush Sound at The House of Blues. I want to take this time to talk about the Pitchfork Music Festival. I purchased a single day ticket for it a couple months back.

Dennis Reynolds, a friend and contributor to The Frequency, told me of his experience at Roger’s Picnic, and out of all the performances he mentioned, the one that stood out the most for me was the Animal Collective’s, complete with a light bit of rain whilst an extended version of their acclaimed song Fireworks bled into Panda Bear’s Comfy in Nautica.

Walt Disney Studios has acquired the home-video rights for Tare Zameen Par for the US market, reports Our Bureau from New Delhi. The US entertainment major is looking at a mainstream DVD launch of the movie rather than just concentrating on NRI pockets. As per sources, Disney acquired the rights for an estimated Rs 5 crore.

Kaoren's apartment was very much a surprise to me.
