The Thai language is the national and official language of Thailand and the mother tongue of the Thai people. Thought to have originated in current-day southern China, Thai is a tonal, analytic language.


Thai (sometimes called Siamese) is the official language of Thailand, spoken by about 65 million people. However, most speakers of dialects and minority languages speak Central Thai as well, since it is the language used in schools and universities.


Thai is understood in most Asian countries, but Thai translators are used extensively in the West as globalization has created business alliances and partnerships across both eastern and western continents, and the global village has made communication across many countries not just a luxury but a necessity.

Certified Thai translators can be used to translate birth certificates, marriage certificates, pension records, prenuptial agreements, school records, tax receipts, extracts from family books, employment and business correspondence, patents, and customer inquiries.
