    Searching for social media experts

    http://emersondirect.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 07/ 15/ searching-for-social-media-exp…

I just read an article in Adweek about Ford hiring Scott Monty in its quest to grapple with and implement the monolith that is… trumpets please… social media. A Few More Thoughts from Christopher Barger June 30th, 2008 Two weeks ago I shared some online marketing/PR wisdom from GM’s social media guy, Christopher Barger. Here are a few more of his thoughts to wrap things up. Most important social networking tools: Chris hates Twitter (another thing we agree on!) but recognizes that it has an impact.

Cluetrain and Crowds: The Philosophy of Modern News Thinking

    http://www.themodernjournalist.com/ 2008/ 05/ 22/ cluetrain-and-crowds-the-philo…

Image by Bill McIntyre via Flickr I’m not finished reading either of these books; however, there’s enough percolating around in my head that I wanted to make sure I got it down before the next set of ideas washed them away. I’m a proponent of reading books at the same time because it allows the ideas to smack up against each other very much like a conversation.
