First thoughts: Last night's bigger story
From Chuck Todd, Mark Murray, and Domenico Montanaro*** Last night's bigger story: So what event last night was more consequential: Obama's substantial defeat in a state few had considered a general election battleground until Clinton declared it so last week?

00491: Long Distance
http://grimlock88.livejournal.com/ 301240.htmlI just got home from a night out with Auntie Emma, Uncle Ding and his niece and nephew. As I sit here at the computer, for the life of me I can't remember their names. Boo me. We all had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen were Auntie Emma insisted they had the best tiramisu she had ever tasted.

Why Fast Food is Better
http://www.leliathomas.com/ 2008/ 05/ 15/ why-fast-food-is-better/Andrew and I went to Subway the other night, and on our way out, we discussed how great fast food is. Now, before I get started on this, we should probably drop some preconceived notions. Fast food does not immediately mean junk food, despite how synonymous the terms have seemingly become in the last few years.

Child Abuse? Child Exploitation?
http://teacherjulie.com/ 2008/ 05/ 15/ child-abuse-child-exploitation/I have written a post here about something that I saw last night. What was otherwise an uneventful roadside dinner for me and hubby turned to be unpleasant experience for me. I was upset, I was aghast, I was anxious. Ok, that’s too much anxiety level already.

SCTEx Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway
http://teacherjulie.com/ 2008/ 05/ 15/ sctex-subic-clark-tarlac-expressway/Traveling through SCTEx or the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway was a breeze. Sure one has to pay some extra to be able to pass through this but I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The highways are paved well. The peace and quiet is just right for me. Though of course, this is not THE place to have engine trouble.

Boston 96, Cleveland 89
http://benjamincox.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ boston-96-cleveland-89.htmlThat is now two games they've blown in Boston. With 3:39 to go in the 2nd quarter, the Cavs held a 43-29 lead. They were playing great; James had 23 points, Wally was hitting open looks and the defense was absolutely amazing. This was the high point of the night, as Boston made a run and the Cavs only led 46-43 going into the half.

: My shirts won’t fit :
http://jennys-corner.com/ 2008/ 05/ my-shirts-wont-fit.htmlThis morning I was having a hard time choosing what shirt to wear and I was literally fitting almost all of them from the closet. Nothing seems to fit me right ever since I have gained some extra flab on my waist after my overseas holidays. I’ve been planning to do jogging around the neighborhood but I lack energy and enthusiasm to do it.

Parliament Review: Ibrahim Ali
http://aput.vox.com/ library/ post/ parliament-review-ibrahim-ali.htmlNote: This one was an earlier review of the points raised by MPs in their first speech in Parliament. I missed out posting it here... Now while I will admit it now that I haven't much data on this fellow as I should, other than he was there when Mahathir was tear gassed in Kelantan, I would definitely like to know more about this "Mr.

Change we can all believe in, Obama’s foreign policy
http://www.swankyconservative.com/ change-we-can-all-believe-in-obamas-foreign-p…D’oh! Obamessiah choked on his vast knowledge of foreign policy when speaking to the faithful hordes in Missouri: Barack Obama visited rural Cape Girardeau, Missouri yesterday. During his speech he talked about the need for more Arabic speakers in Afghanistan.
