-Lehigh Valley 2, Columbus 1 The IronPigs made it two in a row, relying on a combination effort from the pitching staff to stifle the Clippers. Gary Knotts started the game going three innings and allowing the only run surrendered by the 'Pigs. Steve Green followed him with 3 2/3rd innings of two hit ball, with four strikeouts.

On Friday the Threshers shook up their pitching staff. Zack Segovia was added from Reading, Nate Johnson was released, Darren Byrd was placed on the DL & Reymond Cruz was added from extended spring training. Zack Segovia had some velocity issues this year in Spring Training, and got a late start to his season.

-Lehigh Valley 4, Columbus 3 (10 inn.) It took extra innings for the IronPigs to get their sixth win of the year, but a Jon Knott walk off home run in the 10th was the difference. Jason Jaramillo took a step in the right direction of breaking out of his slump with a solo home run earlier in the game.
