toddler

Tag details

toddler is a child between the ages of one and three. This time of life is marked by a sense of growing independence as well as physical and social experimentation.

This developmental stage is a key time for learning and there are many fantastic products on the market to assist children in all areas of their development.

It's often a huge task to keep up with a toddler's learning demands so Babyology recommends the use of puzzles, art and craft, bikes, scooters, trikes, climbing equipment, play rugs, memory games, stacking and nesting activities, cooking (with an adult), pretend play, soft toys, ride-on toys, dress ups, Lego (Duplo), alphabet, word and number games, play tents and cubbies.

Great outings for the toddler are the zoo, play centre, local park, a walk around the neighbourhood, a drive around town or in the countryside.

Other sites such as Essential Baby blog canvas every day items such as shoes, car restraints and issues such as a toddler's first sleepover.
