I’m not sure how I feel about the Tomb Raider series. I love the concept of the entire series, the lead character is empowering, and generally speaking I like this genre of game. Every time a new one comes out, I’m all excited only to get disappointed in the first level.

Tomb Raider: Underworld is shaping up to be a very interesting game, which I for one am pretty excited about, and I have not been interested in a Tomb Raider title since the highly lamentable The Angel of Darkness.

Every year post-E3, I like to write about the event and talk about all the things that got me excited. For one reason or another, I didn’t get around to it this year. That’s not to say that I wasn’t paying attention - I had a browser window open with streaming video of each of the big three press conferences as they happened.

Lara Croft is just back from her trip to Thailand for the making of Tomb Raider: Underworld and fortunately for us Eidos tagged along for the ride to record footage and snap a few photos from her adventure. Did she discover any clues to the whereabouts of Thor’s hammer? Watch to find out.

This Trailer reveals the first location from the game to be revealed – rain-drenched Mayan ruins – and a tease at a return of the nefarious bad-girl, Natla, from Tomb Raider: Anniversary in there. Also: giant spiders, giant octopus, and giant statues of Norse Gods, the mythology of which (Thor’s hammer, in particular) factors heavily in the game’s plot as Lara continues her quest to find Avalon.

Eidos Interactive has released the first gameplay trailer for their upcoming videogame, Tomb Raider: Underworld. As you can see, Lara Croft is back and this time she is searching for Thor’s Hammer, but for what, for whom? These are very big questions on gamers minds as is the other huge question hanging over this games head.

Lara Croft is back. Eidos has released the first gameplay trailer for the new Croft game, Tomb Raider: Underworld. The trailer looks really good, this might have to be my first Tomb Raider game I actually buy, sorry Dreamcast. Definitely, something to look forward to.

Today, Eidos Interactive revealed the first gameplay footage, as well as some screenshots for the PS3/Xbox 360 versions of Tomb Raider: Underworld. They also announced a release date of November 18th of this year for the Xbox 360, PC, PS3, and PS2 versions of the game.
