Eric Sorenson of CBS College Sports recently put out an article about his 64 preseason predictation for the 2008 season to see if any of them came through. He predicted many different things including that Oregon State would not win the National Championship to the amount of Beer Gardens going down in Omaha.

I had my first three games of baseball today. The first game started at 10:15am and we won. It was sunny and hot when we started but by the end the dark rain cloud were coming our way and it cooled off significantly but we did not get rained on.

I absolutely hate these (and I use the term loosely) "golf" course layouts this year. Just tell me, what is wrong with the best players on the planet shooting below par? Is this some secret Nicklaus created plot to make him think he was better? Let these guys play for God's sake.

I was able to attend the US Senior Open in Colorado Springs. I noticed some interesting things that I thought I would share. *There is very little talent lost on this tour. I saw a 391 yd drive and Romero averaged 351 yds for one round. AVERAGED. *Every ball played minus about 6 were Titleist ProV balls.
