Although we aren't having the kind of hot weather my friends and family are down south, we do get some days where it's warm enough to lie around in the sun in bathing suits.

May 25th was Bring a Towel Day and I forgot. I consider myself a science fiction nerd and now my cred has suffered a severe blow. In an effort to assure you that I belong to the true nerd crowd (as opposed to the poser nerd, wannabe nerd or strangely numerous sexy librarian crowd) I declare that Ursula LeGuin is indeed epic.

Looks like Lindsay is more happy than ever. She is all smiles while taking a break from all that shopping and kissing Samantha Ronson at the Eden Rock Hotel swimming pool in Cannes. She should lose some weight as she is kind of fat.

I know the day is almost over but I would not feel right if I did not mention today is the annual Towel Day which is celebrated every May 25th in honor of Douglas Adams writer of the Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy. To celebrate the day I am actually listening to the audiobook while doing a little blogging and relaxing.

Towel day, known to hoopy froods worldwide as the day in which we honor the man who plucked us all from the flocks of simpering strags and taught us the importance of having a towel, the potency of the pan-galactic gargleblaster, and that even the end of the world isn’t really the end of the world, so don’t panic.

I am so relieved it's Towel Day.

Gosh, almost forgot about Towel Day but then remembered it before I left the house today. Happy Towel Day, everybody! So long, and thanks for all the fish!
